Frisco Tea Party Patriots –

At our October 10th meeting, a number of resources were provided to learn about the ten Constitutional Amendments that are on the November ballot. Since then, additional information has become available as groups have analyzed the propositions. Grassroots Texans has consolidated this onto a web page that provides the actual amendments, the background to each and opinions of various organizations. It also provides a matrix summary of the "recommendations" from each of these groups.  This matrix is also copied below for your convenience.

We strongly encourage you to visit this site - http://grassrootstexans.net/pages/voterguide/ - and become familiar with the pros and cons of each proposition. Then VOTE. Remember, in these types of elections, propositions usually pass due to low voter turnout - a non-vote often equates to a "yes."

Here's the schedule for voting:

October 24th - First Day of Early Voting

November 4th - Last Day of Early Voting

November 8th - Election Day

If you lose the link, remember that you can always visit our site at www.facebook.com/FriscoTeaParty You do not have to be registered user to see the information (you can remain anonymous!)

The chart above is not intended to be, nor should it be used as, a substitute for individual investigation and decision making on these propositions. Each voter is encouraged to inform him or herself as to the pros and cons of each of these proposals and cast an informed vote at the ballot box.
